Gil watering the sprouts while carrying a puppy we found wandering
in the road, in a baby sling. He was not happy. Note the candle in the
tub which provided the light at that point. We carried as many 5 gallon
water jugs as we could into the cabin, poured from them into a watering
can and rinsed sprouts in the tub (which drained out onto the ground
under our cabin - forming an ice slick which grew until the Spring thaw.
