In the Summer and Autumn of 1995 we built an addition onto our 600
square foot cabin. The sprouts needed a new home with more climate control and a better water supply. We still had to get water from our pump 100 feet down hill, but we used a hose instead of hauling it in jugs. We also tripled our solar panels and added the ability to run 1500 watts at once (we had only been able to run 200 watts previously). Little did we know at the time that the sprouts would need substantially more space and technology in the very near future.
