About the MJ-550

This was the 2nd juicer we ever owned.
It makes fast, easy work of grass!

We started with a Manual Wheat Grass Juicer, moved to an electric MJ-550 Grass Juicer a few years later and in 1999 we bought The Green Life. We didn't use our MJ-550 for long, so we don't have a whole lot to say about it other than: It is electric, it juices grass well and it is easy to clean.

If you need to juice only grass AND you need more than 4 ounces of juice a day - get this juicer. It only does grass and if you need less juice you can go with a Manual Wheat Grass Juicer - it doesn't take much work to extract a few ounces by hand.

Notes

Grass juice is well extracted by the MJ-550! Some folks are concerned about all the foam that passes through the juicer along with their juice. We have found that foam regardless of the juicer we use and consider it a reality of grass. Our advice: Just live with it - the juice you get is what you should get (10-20 ounces per 11x22 inch tray) - the foam is not lost juice - it is a by product: foam.

We do not stock these juicers. When you order them we call our supplier and have one - or more - drop shipped directly to you. If you need additional parts or items, or a different voltage - like 220v - just ask!

We have been an internet only business since 2001. We are not a big corporation. We are but 2 people, mom n' pop. We decided after years of juggling our family's (kids, dogs, cats and even our own) needs, and the needs of Sproutpeople, that we had to make more time for our kids, so we stopped talking on the phone. All calls go to voice mail and have since 2001.

We are very fast to fill orders and answer e-mail, and though we wish we could make the time to talk, we just can't seem to get more minutes into a each hour. We are many years older than when we started and our days are too short and made up of too few hours to do everything. This limitation in our business has not kept us from pleasing our customers, nor from growing (as we have every year since 1993). We do what we do as well as we can, and we think we do it very well indeed.
