About Sprouters
They come in many shapes and sizes, though all with the same purpose - to help make you a sproutperson.
We have grown sprouts professionally since 1993. In that time The Sproutpeople have produced over 200 Tons of sprouts - the same way you do at home: We Rinse and Drain our sprouts 2-3 times daily, over a sink! We have chosen to keep our sprout growing a manual operation because we've never seen a machine that can come close to producing the same high quality sprout we can!
Because of that, you will find that our wide selection of Sprouters are all manual. Trust us, sprouting is easy, you do not need a machine. It is our belief that the simple task of growing sprouts by hand will teach you something about life by teaching you about plants and their needs. Sprouts will become more a part of your life if you tend to them. All that is required is that you spend about 30 seconds 2-3 times a day, Rinsing and Draining your crop. How easy is that?!
We will eventually add information here about other sprouters, whether we choose to carry them or not. We may even add information about automated sprouters if we ever meet one we like =:-}

Our most popular sprouter, it is also our personal favorite. We have over a dozen in our house! Great drainage and the best air-circulation of any sprouter. Easy Sprout is made up of a 1 Quart Growing Vessel, a Solid container/Base that catches excess Rinse water, a Small Seed Insert, 2 Growing Lids (1 for home and 1 for the road) and a Solid Lid for refrigerator storage. The mandatory choice for tropical and high humidity sproutpeople and great for travel sprouting! Very versatile - Easy Sprout can sprout any seed!
The greatest tray sprouter ever. Stackable - add trays to build your own sprout skyscraper. Excellent drainage. The best sprouter ever for growing vertical Leafy sprouts, the SproutMaster is very versatile - it can sprout anything!
We sell two configurations: Single trays that measure 8x10 inches and a stack of three trays that measures 5x6 inches.
Very good drainage and exceptional air-circulation. Crystal clear heavy duty plastic make the Tube our top choice for kids who sprout, but it is a great choice for adults too. Comes with 3 Screen Lids and 1 Solid Lid.
The perfect bean, grain and big seed sprouter, the Hemp Bag now sprouts small seeds too. The best travel sprouter ever, it folds up flat and does a great job on a backpack or a hotel sink! Superior drainage and air-circulation.
The least expensive, most basic sprouter. Jars have less air-circulation and drainage than more advanced sprouters, but they a fine choice for any skilled sprouter or for those willing to work a bit harder at rinsing and draining.

This European tray sprouter has 2 growing trays, a drip tray/base and a vented cover. Drainage is not as good as our favorite tray sprouter, SproutMaster, but is good enough for big seeds and workable for small ones. An inexpensive and attractive addition to any sprouting device collection, Bio-Salad is the best European tray sprouter!

Just sprinkle small seeds on the moist felt pads and watch 'em grow! Not a big crop sprouter, but a very fun and attractive!
This is the way we grow all of our commercial sprouts, Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens! We recommend these to you for soil based crops only. It's easy: Sprout your seed ("pre-sprout") if necessary - then spread them on thoroughly moistened soil in one of the several Trays, we offer, cover the Tray for a few days and when it's time, un-cover and Green your plants. There is nothing to it!
A low rinse European sprouter with 3 growing trays, a drip tray/base and a top, reservoir tray. Less air-circulation and drainage than other sprouters, but quite popular despite our review. Fine for big seeds and very attractive.

We only use the phone for emergencies.
Back in 2001 we were still using the phone. One day I was talking to a long-time customer while pushing my (then 4 year old) daughter on the swing in our backyard (this is what a mom n' pop business is like on the internet). It dawned on me that my priorities were severely messed up, so I stopped using the phone. I love to talk and I love to help, but my family would never see me if I picked up the phone again, and that's just wrong don't you think?!

We are quite fast and VERY thorough. We love to help.
We have been an internet only business since 2001. We are not a big corporation. We are but 2 people, Mom n' Pop Sprout. We decided after years of juggling our family's (kids, dogs, cats and even our own) needs, and the needs of Sproutpeople, that we had to make more time for our kids, so we stopped talking on the phone. All calls go to voice mail and have since 2001.
We are very fast to fill orders and answer e-mail, and though we wish we could make the time to talk, we just can't seem to get more minutes into a each hour. We are many years older than when we started and our days are too short and made up of too few hours to do everything. This limitation in our business has not kept us from pleasing our customers, nor from growing (as we have every year since 1993). We do what we do as well as we can, and we think we do it very well indeed.
We appreciate your patronage more than we can say. We ask that you use the phone for emergencies only and that you search our site for answers before e-mailing us. This site is bigger than any 4 sprout books put together, it is always available and it is free, and we know that almost all questions are answered here.
