In the old days - before packaging sprouts became necessary and we were a completely bulk operation, we grew our sprouts outside when the Wisconsin weather permitted. Here are Gil and Sam posing. Notice the plastic "garbage" can sitting below the pump atop our well. We used to fill the can and then dip a watering can into it. That watering can was our water delivery system in those days.
